Based on a 19th century design, this psaltery made by Nathan Sweet can be played flat on a table or lap, cradled in the arm, or point down as seen in the "Cantigas di Santa Maria". It is also known in some literature as the Arpinetta, Harp-psaltery, or Bohemian Wing .
