This whistle has been “tweaked” (the traditional term for fine tuning a whistle) by Jerry Freeman to create as close as possible to an ideal Generation pennywhistle. The voicing has been adjusted to match pre-1980’s Generations. It plays sweeter/purer than currently manufactured Generations.
The mouthpiece interior and soundblade edge have been adjusted to improve the voicing and make the whistle easier to play, without the tendencies to buzz, rattle and squawk that are characteristic of factory run pennywhistles.
